Nelson Visit 1of 4

 We took a few days to nip down to Nelson, we love it there. One of our goals was to walk to the top of the Grampians to the transmission to tower, we nailed that on day one. We checked out a few well known spots and revisited the Glenn where I lived as a a kid before moving to Tauranga.

That's us sitting on the 'beach' at the Glenn. Yon need more than a beach towel.

It's hard to believe the old place we lived in is still there, and just as I recall from 70 years ago as a 6 year old kid. Its the small place with the red brick chimney. Its sitting up the hill less than 50 meters from the beach.
