Plastic Bag Ban

I am surprised at some of the countries that have taken this challenging stance.

Plastic bottles next?

On a related matter. Our house is near full of the heavy duty bags you have to buy at the supermarket when you forget to bring one yourself. Not sure how enviromentally progressive this is as we will soon need to dump them all, most having only been used once!

We need to sort ourselves out.

McLaren Falls Park

Jay and I took a quick trip to the park for a little picnic and to check out the waterfall track.

First a hot noodle snack, yum and easy.

At the waterfall. Our low rainfall recently has cut the water flow.
We took a couple of sieves to check out the riverbed for any nice stones...none found๐Ÿ˜€
This was amazing, We did see a bunch of people randomly kicking leaves and debris around that had fallen from the trees. We didn't think more about it until we returned and found this! Wow, great imagination. So much for 'random'.

Dynamic Jay

Over the years I have taken and processed thousands of football shots mostly senior club games.

I went to watch Jay play this morning and was shocked at his energy, determination, speed and goal scoring. Team play was also not too bad. Never that good at this age.

Proud of Jay today such a contrast to last year where he stood back seemingly not interested.

Robyn and me at the Japanese Gardens in Nelson last week.

Our kitchen has been out of action now for many weeks but Robyn still manages to make fabulous meals. Amazing!
