Atmospheric Recession

When I was in the royal photographic society they considered atmospheric recession to be a strong composition element in photographic comps.

Here it is in a photo of the Kaimai range taken from the top of Mount Maunganui. This comes about when lighting and hazy conditions come together to differentiate each ridge in a range of hills. Quite unusual to see it this well.

Cyclone Dovi's Tail

This hit us on Sunday. Winds of 100kph and more. I went to the Mount to check out what was going on.

The wind velosity and sandblasting in Pilot Bay was so bad I could not take my camera out of the bag. However on the main beach, oceanside (Facing north) it was still very rugged. I removed the sea mist from these photos to get a look at what was actually happening.

Three pictures I have never seen before came along today. Our boys and friends in their break out days.

Leave it to family to figure our who's who...

But this is Paul after surviving a bus crash

Flowcrete Creations

Are these paintings or pictures from Hubble of deep space? No, these are pictures of a special paint system supplied by our company for floors. Each job is unique and basically unreproducible on subsequent projects.

We have not yet released the system to the public. The application is specialised and at this point only one applicator has mastered the technique and has the right tools. The stunning effects that can be produced will, hopefully, create a strong demand from retail shops and office owners wanting an eye catching entrance or feature floor.
