A beautiful monument on the bank of the Maitai river.

On my early morning walk along Trafalgar Street. The bell tower of the Christ Church Cathedral (Nelson Anglican Cathedral)in the background. Several cafes, restaurants and pubs are located here and it's a central mostly traffic free zone. Great beer and food.

Entertainment. Low key early in the evening.

Lambretta's on Hardy street.

Probably the busiest breakfast and lunch place in Nelson. Service and food are excellent. We have been coming here for many years, when we visit.
