We often just take a walk around the the Mount (Mauao) to enjoy the ozone, the freedom and the challenge of running all the way past the Shag nesting area while holding our breath!! It can be a shocker. Sorry no pictures of that for obvious reasons.
The Mount and surrounding waterfront areas have special importance for our family as we lived there for years and brought the kids up there.
No not on the Mount itself.....but in a regular house!
In those days it was a friendly seaside community. Some of that remains today. Yet change is inevitable and its happening rapidly at the Mount.
