Ouch. My recent hand surgery is recovering.
Tauranga's new library building is coming along well. A very interesting structure. Minimal steel and lots of trees used in the wooden framing, columns and floors. I recall that in the early 70's there was a period where many buildings were made using laminated wooden beams. Not sure why they became unpopular. I think steel may have been less expensive and quicker to erect.
